are you storing the epg on usb ? and is it crashing with a green screen ?, if it is, take out the usb, reformat, mount it and try again

I have been advised not to store epg and picons on hdd, as the drive is said to spin constantly, ppl have advised to store them both on usb ( 2gb ), both the epg and picons take up very little space on usb stick. Works fine for me.

I have epg & picons stored on internal hard drive, the only time the drive spins is on boot up and then goes into standby which I have set at 1 min. no issues at all.
                        Cheers,
