Need help with gemini password

I have a gemini image, but cant ftp into the box. it tells me the password or username is incorrect. Any ideas how i can ftp into an image without the password. im able to flash another image and then ftp and it works. but i need files from the old image

i tried that but i still have the same problem. the image gets stuck on the GP screen. i can connect to it via null cable, the box is responding but it tells me the password and username.i think, it was changed
