sim201 loader 76a wont boot help please

Hi guys, the box seems to load and goes to itv hd on the box lcd
but nothing at all on tv and tv just says no device input, So I thought I would re flash with dreamup but not recognising the box.
When I hold power down until STOP I dont get an IP i just get www.dm800sim2.com
So I am totally stuck
I have a crossover lead and a null modem lead and tried them both

Has everything on the box been set up like ccams.bouquets,tuner configuration??
Is this a fixed dish or motorised and what image are you using? You say you get ItvHd? Is this blank or do you get a picture? Some Itvhd channels are premium channels and not Fta so you wouldnt get a picture.

Yes everything was set up a while ago I think it was a gemini image but not 100%
It had boquets on from here and cccam, I did get hd package on it
There is just a blank screen on tv and tv not recognising anything connected either by hdmi or scart and also the box doesnt respond to the remote ?

Have you tried to connect the box to Dreamup with a Null modem cable to see if iut recognises the box?
Take it your quite familiar with the working of the box?
Is there anyway to switch from hdmi to scart or is it completly stuck?
If all is bad it looks like you might have to reflash.

Also tried to get the ip from holding down the power and no luck there
tried a crossover and null modem cable as I read that somewhere and no luck
Tried piggyback with dream up and another box which was a 500 to my 800 and couldnt manage that, unless that was because it was 2 different box types ?

this box is mashing my head it shows dhcp up and when i use dcc to search boxes connected nothing shows
so am at a blank and thought someone might have had the same problems

Dreamup 1.3.3.4 always works for me.
Would persevere with the null modem and with ethernet connected at same time.Take its your using a desktop pc windows xp?
Never had much luck with laptop or windows 7 with Dreamup,
Another problem could be the Psu,you aint swapped them by mistake have you? The 500 for the 800?

You have power so thats a good thing.Keep trying Dreamup but there are several versions so you could try that.
Think theres an enforcer program that might help,used for non responsive boxes with No Ca Found.
It might be worth a try will try and find it.

Found it have a read of post then scroll down to post 10 it might work.

Tried that just no response at ell with dream up will throw it round the back garden and try it again tomorrow

Did you find the thread on the enforcer?
If you are using a lappy try a desktop pc if you can mate.
