Which is best ?

I've decided on the folloiwng 2 receivers. Which is best and which should I get ?

Both are good suppliers but I would have a preference for the Sim2.01 version as it has better support IMHO.

Ive had boxes from both guys and both offer first class service and after sales help so whoever you decide to go with you cant go wrong.

Same box different sim so its take your pick.
Ive a Ferrari Sim in my box and all is fine,my mates have Sim2 but i cant tell the difference.
Probably more images for the Sim2 but both do Dream elite Phoenix Edition which i think is best image.
Other option you have is Tony at Yaoxin,that will save you a few quid going overseas.

I will second what andy91 said, have used Dream elite Phoenix Edition for 12 months now and tried others and it is a far better image.

In my honest opinion I would go with the sim2.01 receiver. Primusat does not state what Rev M tuner.

Also I had a receiver from Primusat and liked the Ferarri sim but it seriously overheated to a worrying extent so sent it back and went with sim2.01.

Dont get me wrong Primusat's service was 1st class.

I also 3rd DreamElite Pheonix Edition. Superb so it is

I've ordered the one from ukdrea**** with the Dream elite Phoenix Edition image (latest) but it won't arrive until saturday.

Hopefully its a good box and I can get it working easily.

Normally comes with Gemini.Wont take 2 mins anyways if you have to do it.

good choice going with the REV M PRO Version SIM2.01. Although you definitely would have saved at least 50 quid, if you went direct from China for the dame reciever.

The Ferarri clones, have no precautions for heat dissipitation...i.e: no heatsink or Fan on the CPU. The SIM 2.01 based models have a heatsink and fan fitted, and the PRO versions also have a modification that switched the fan off when box is in standbu.

Also much better support, traditionally SIM2.01 team have always been the first to release patched bootloaders capable of running newer images and drivers. Also check the SIM2.01 forum theres a lot of patched images and good work carried out by RamiMaher, MFaraj etc..to release patched images.

Ferarri have always been slower to release any new bootloaders, and are generally rumoured to wait until SIM2.01 team creates a solution then "copying" it to release their own bootloaders. There image support is also not as good..although they have Powerboard and Domica images.

Yes as above sim 2.01 is far the best, and ukdreamshop always have first class service just noticed they are now ?159.99 thats good for a pro with sim 2.01 prob the cheapest around they are, china is always cheaper but like everyone says your stuffed when there's a problem its a nightmare to get replacement exchanges etc
