dreambox 500hd or dreambox 800hd

hi everyone again my mate wants to buy one or the other 500hd or 800hd im no expert but wondered if any of you guys could point out the differances clones / not clones and pros and cons to them both please also where to buy one from with the "right" images on so he can just plug and play with the right "lines"

dm500HD? DM800HD? there is lots of info on the differences between both boxes and it comes down to your preference. as for clone non clone most ppl think (like me) the clone for its price is fine its all a matter of what you can afford. The DM800s I have ordered all come with an image, you just need to set the tuner up and search. Again the image is subjective I personally like Rami Mahirs images.

Avoid the 500hd clone, not been out long enough so still buggy. Dm800 pro is the best clone E2 unit to date

Hi i have a DM500HD original good box but limited connectivity no usb and only esata HD support.
Would have liked an original 800HD or a pro but too expensive, if buying a clone I would second the 800HD, as beter connectivity USB/ESATA/ mountable HD etc has a dvi output but a dvi to hdi lead only a couple of quid.

the 800 pro sim 2.01 is a really good box well worth the money as southpaw said 500 clone still buggy

Yes 500hd china are not selling as to many faults dm800se is available next week so dave tells me at ukdreamshop be worth waiting for that apparently has colour oled screen sim 2.10 not 2.01
