Coolpad - Get rid of lights?

I got a coolpad to keep my box cool. It has 3 fans and plugs in via the usb. Everything is fine apart from the 3 bright blue lights which stay on all the time.

Is there a way to get these things to work without the lights as they are very annoying.

I did look at that but they seem to be enclosed with the fans so can't get at them. There are 2 wires going to each fan though so i'm wondering if one of these is to power the lights and cutting them may switch it off. Which 1 to cut though.

cut the wires, if you cut the wrong one its just a matter of stripping them back a bit and wrap them around each other, bit of insulating tape and bobs your uncle.

i have the same fans with the blue led lights
i to have tried to turn the lights out
but you cant get to em they are sealed
the 2 wires feed the fans
if you cut any of the wires the fans wont work
the wires feed the fans then the lights
if you do cut any wire it needs to be cut after the fan feed

If its like the coolpad the poundshop sells , the blue leds got on my nerves so i got a pair of long nose pliers and pulled the led's off . The was the only way i could get to then as they are semi enclosed
