    Commando 14.3 sattelite help!

    Im having trouble scanning sattelites it keeps saying transponderscan failed

    anyone got a rookie guide where I can find all the sattelites and have 28.2 as the main one?

    Do i need to set my longititude etc?

      yes, if you have a motor setup. you need to enable DiSEqC 1.2 in service scan menu and then enter your lat and long in motor settings menu. turn on gotoXX and save settings. scanning and channel zapping should now auto move dish to correct sat.

      the alternative to using usals/gotoXX is to manually setup the correct sat positions in your motor table. if your motor's stored table has 28.2E at postition 1 then set the number 1 to 28.2e in the motor settings menu sat list, if 19.2E is stored in your motor postion table at position 5 then you would set the number 5 to 19.2e in the sat list in motor settings menu...etc. you can manualy drive your dish and change your stored moter table settings from the manual motor setup menu.

        How accurate are USALS? I've heard manual is more reliable?
