Not got a motorised set up myself yet mate but im sure a 97cm will get you some good sats out there.

Also the 500s is a good starting dreambox receiver but you have to be careful as some have issues with moving motors on a motorised set up.

If you can fork out abit more money mate I personally would go with a 800HD Pro or the 800 se (clone models). Much nicer overall appearance. Dont get me wrong I loved the 500 when I used to use them.

Hope this is of some help

if you get a 1m motorised dish. and any box capable of operating the motor....you willget a lot of channels.

if you want to open the channels....you should get a box with a card reader and prferably able to support certain softwares.

best to get a HD box as it definately not worth watching other channels if you have HD option available.

a box that supports enigma2 would be beneficial.

I have DM800HD PRO and DM800HD se as well. both great. even if you don't have any subs, you will still receive fta in hd from all over.

i'm sure when you get everything installed you will have questons and people here will be happy to help.
