Evening guys
how do i show my oscam log file so i can get some help

check out your oscam.conf file - this is where you configure logging

my oscam.conf file on a DM500S, I set logging as follows

but i need to be able to copy and paste my oscam files info so i can show someone where im going wrong with it

Are you using OScam alone?

Also post your OScam.server configs?

and i cant post it coz i dont know how too thats the question im asking how do it

Post your config file in var/tuxbox/config

Did you read the wiki?

set the logfile?

logfile = /var/log/oscam.log

add that to oscam.conf

Has the card worked before? or never?

Give us as much details as poss and we can help?

card works with ccam apart fom pick tv
and never worked with both
the rest of what you are saying has gone right over my head LOL

OK here is OScam only configs.

Some ppl say different but I dont see no point in using OScam + CCcam.

Now to get your card working with OScam and clearing is your 1st hurdle.

I presume you already know how to add OScam to your box?

Here is powerpc-tuxbox old stable 1.10.

oscam-stable-1.10-powerpc-tuxbox-old-webif-Distribution.tar.gz

Replace if it with yours if you wish too.

Now here is configs that do and will work.

config.zip

Now if you want to add lines to say your other local boxes.

Just add the clines as you would in to their CCcam.cfg as per normal for a local setup.

Then you ass the user pass to the OScam.user in the configs above.

You will have to edit the ports and passwords to your own.

Now I would STRONGLY advise you to read up on the wiki page.

If you dont have the it alread follow below, if you do then just delete out the old one and FTP in the new one.

If you dont, do a factory reset and start from scratch to avoid any previous setup problems.

Now re-name that to OScam.

Now FTP the cam to /var/bin

now CHmod to 755

Now using telnet type the following command

touch /var/etc/plimgr/cardservers/OScam

This will create a blank file.

The file you create must be exactly the same as the cam file that you just sent to /var/bin

Now select OScam from the menu
