without going into to much detail as this subject is all over the forum,generally its not advised to use their BB for what i assume you want to use it for

I haven't heard any reports of people "getting caught" using payservers. Sky's usual reaction to CC is to blackball the sharer from receiving their services. If your not sharing and if your like a lot of others and don't even have a shy sub, they have nothing to ban.

Plenty of people get caught and blackballed as you said. Payservers are dealt a different deal by them and rightly so.

If your not sharing, your not sharing, that's the truth of it.

So if u just receive channels, would the BB be fine?

If not I'm going to move to O2 BB and home phone.

I used Sky BB and was running it with 5 others, it worked flawlessly for 12months until i changed ISP. I wish i could have stayed with them but the risk was too big.
