No Clone Dreamboxes on Ebay

Just on Ebay there and done a search for the se as was curious to how much they go for on there. I get from China but just wanted to see how much of a difference in price.

So all that came up was se original receivers no clones so just thought that obviously no one is selling any on there at this present time.

Then I just typed in 'dreambox' and the only receivers coming up are originals, very strange.

So my question is..... Has Ebay put a stop to clone receivers being sold on Ebay?

I know counterfeit goods are not meant to be sold on there but have always seen plenty of clone receivers being sold there.

so they are putting a stop to it :/ not looking to buy as said i could get it for cheaper but just shocked when i seen there was none on there at all.

Maybe if it was worded something like 'Original Sim 2.10 Dreambox SE' that could maybe trick Ebay in to believing its a original.

You get warned, then warned again, then they close your account.
You also have to fill in a questionaire about pirate gear when you get warned to re-activate your account.

But why the sudden change? There used to be loads of them on there and now theres none with maybe the exception to a used 500 .

Think as i said maybe wording it differently might get around it as all the others say genuine or original. So say for instance with the se 'Original sim 2.1 dreambox hd se' or 'genuine sim 2.1 dreambox hd se'people in the know about dreamboxes will know about the sim but ebay might not and seen 'original' or 'genuine' might be enough to keep ebay at bay.

Ebay has a department/independent commission that scans all new adds to check for copyright breach.
You used to able to get away with most things, but not now.
I know I used to.

i tried to sell one a month or so ago, they emailed me telling me i had used someone else picture, when it was my own, they pulled it and said that i could relist if i could prove they were my photos. i couldnt be arsed in the end .

Same thing on Gumtree. You can get a 500s clone for roughly ?45 deliverd elsewhere.
