Just had a shitty day, Did 6 or 7 scan's as my first scan must have been happening when all the changes that where going on. There was about 50 changes, Completed the Bouquets then it changed again and that happened 3 more times until the final update.

Then when you see your work going unappreciated, I know loads do, Just hit a nerve with me today.

I enjoyed doing them as it helped so many people out, Hope someone has the time to take them over. But remember its a lot of work

to be fair i dont personally use preset bouquets. i make my own for my own use and always have. SGTFlipFlop's bouquets were and always be up there with the best of them for their accuracy and clean fresh layout. but as you said most users are just too lazy to do a scan every now and again and just demand updates. it's now their loss.

no it wont be the end of all things satellite but it is yet another very hard working contributor to the satellite scene who has had his fill of the crap that floats around all forums.

Cheers for your excellent bouquets over the last year i have used your bouquets. I just want to say like many members on here a big thank you.

Your effort was greatly appreciated my friend.

Some advice please if you do not mind. I presume one needs to do a scan of his system. Upload the scan results via dreambox edit. Then remove the old enteries and add the new ones to the correct bouquets. If thats correct wow thats a lot of work.

How do you know when its time for a scan? As in the past i have just uploaded your bouqets to my box

I scan every day mate, Websites like KoS are pretty good but can take time to update, So if there is a football game I want to watch I make sure I've scanned before hand and make sure everything is how it seems, Just so there is no mucking about when its about to start.

I work shifts so need to schedule the scans when I have spare time.

Sad to see you leave the public Bouquet Arena SgtFlipFlop.... You're hard work was appreciated by a lot of people & its true you made life easier for some of us. Hope someone has the time to take up where you left off. I reckon its time I bit the bullet & learned how to make my own Bouquets. If anyone can link/PM me a good tutorial I would appreciate it. I dont see why people dont update their bouquets themselves every now again.
Once you get the bouquets from sgt or b16mcc it could be used as a template. and then when a channel change freq , go on kos and update the bouquets in dbe.

Thanks SGT for your bouquets over the last years or so, the best bouquets I have used on my dreambox.

I used to scan myself and remove and add old/new channel changes. But when the last David Haye and Klitchko fight was on my current bouquet didnt have the BO channel on it so I used SGT's bouquet and there it was.

SGT Where would I get the latest transponder list so I know what transponders I need to add to get the channels?

Also I know there is a differnece to data channels so how do I change these to make these viewable?

i have been interested in the sat scene for a very long time I remember the d2 mac days and on digital, programming cards ,entering codes with the remote,etc. and i have seen very useful members like sgt flipflop and others (who give up a lot of their time to the benefit of others) come and go on forums
these "volunteers"of information are often not appreciated until they have gone
i have had a dm800 for a year now and although i don't update too often whenever i do i use sgt list and i always make a point of using the thanks button
so many thanks sgt flip flop for all the time consuming work you have done in the past and perhaps after a while you may even have a change of heart
not all members take you for granted

i do my own as well as i like them in my own order. but tbh it's a shit load of work and very timeconsuming. i only update channels that i watch and have changed.

like the sgt said...he done 3 scans and they kept changing straight away. that would piss anybody off to the extent of stopping.

then to get a**holes make shitey comments about not having their FREE updates. well.....
