what sim is in my box

hi guys i just got my hands on a new dreambox pro however after a bit of investigation i have found it has a 2.10 sim inside. however on the box a sticker says it has a 2.01 sim. to complicate the matter further when the box is booting on the oled sim 2.01 is displayed. so what image would i flash on this box?

It's a 2.01 mate if it's a pro it's probably 2.01 ssl82 so used patched images based around that

but when i opened the box the sim doesnt have famous bubble on it, and also it has sim 210 written on it

if its saying 2.01 on bootup then do what portbhoy suggests put a 2.01 ssl82 image on it. It will be fine

nice to see you taking care in getting it right 1st time round op , makes perfect sense to double check , would much rather help in this kinda thread than have you all stressed out in a "no ca error" thread

by the way , the naming of these sims is awful , sim2 , sim2.01 sim2.1 all refere to same thing , now the later SE clones have another type of sim2 , at least ferrari team named there`s originaly , well not originally but you get my drift

cheers for showing the appreciation of my caution haha i can happily say i flashed the box with a 2.01 image. i believe the SE boxes have the newest sims

sim2 team produced two cards one called sim201 and the newst sim210
sim210 card used in sim2 dm800se,sim2 dm500hd and new production of sim2 dm800pro
so you have the last one
sim2 supports both cards equally and images modified for sim201 card can be used also for boxes with sim210 cards
so do not worry use any image labled sim2,sim201 or sim210
you are lucky because sim210 card is more developed than old sim201 and sim hardware is able to accept any future development in ssl
sim2 reassured users of both cards that they will give support for both cards equally and in fact this is the case because since sim210 card produced ,images modified for both and original drivers processed for both cards equally

What do you mean as pheonix worked on 2.01 and if sim 2.01 run on 2.10 then what stops pheonix from doing the same. Sorry if its a silly question mate.
