I'm running Server 2008 R2.

Has anyone got this working on that OS?

I can get the player/streamer (version 7.0) installed, but when I try to run it, nothing happens. No gui, no error - seems it just terminates.

I got the player/streamer up and running by installing windows media player and also adding the "Desktop Experience" feature.

However, after a couple of minutes max, I get the following

Run-time error '40006' :
Wrong protocol or connection state for the requested transaction or request.

I've downloaded and installed V7 of this porgram but I can't get it to connected to my DM500S. I have entered the correct IP, box type (DM500), username and password but it still fails to connect. It says one of the above are wrong but they are all OK. Any help appricated.

ps: I'm using the Commando V14.6 image if that makes any difference.

UPDATE: tried using this with another image, Nabilosat V8 For DM500, and it worked.
Does anyone know how to get this to work with the Commando image?

Been using this program for the past two weeks but now I'm getting a message box across the middle of the video screen saying "Evaluation Period Has Expired, please register bitcontrol MPEG 2-Video Decoder www.bitcontrol.com".
Is this normal as it looks as if it costs ?75 to register the decoder??
