Watch Dreambox from pc (Like Webtv)

    Hi

I have had loads of problems with this and there are many bits of software and programs that help you watch your dreambox from your pc but they all freeze, dont work or are not that good. I have been doing some quick searches and the easiest and best program I have found so far (if Web TV doesnt work or as an alternative) is DreamStream. This also works fine with decent clones

    Hi Mr S
Have you disabled your firewall ?
I watch TV from my Dreambox over the newest DCC.
It is also possible over the web Interface.
Type in your Browser 192.168.x.y ( IP from your box )
    Many Success

      Hi wolfff

Yeah I have done of the usual, seems like it working sometimes and not the other with Webtv.

But Dream Stream is much better, give it a go and you will see what I mean. You can position the tv as a window which is always on top, so you can use your computer at the same time. There are many options that arent available through the standard wen interface.

      Regards

        what about streaming HD channels?

I can stream normal SD fine, but have stuttering issues with HD, I know network bandwidth is not an issue, so wondering if anyone has any experience streaming HD channels?

This is for streaming accross your local network, is there a solution for streaming over the internet (without a pc) to a remote computer?
