Refreshing satellite channel list

Hello,

When I update the satellite channel lists via the db itself (scanning Hotbird every so often), I think I am not saving the newly scanned channels..

Forgive my ignorance, but what should I do after scanning is complete? I hit 'exit' on the remote control.. does that cancel all newly scanned channels and goes back to the old channel list?

press the ok button once scan has finished. if you press the exit button it will not save them. you will see the new channels under last scanned in bouqets

Yes I pressed OK but after that I am taken back to the Service Scan menu saying again 'press ok to start the scan'..... do i have to press 'exit' at that stage then?

yep once you pressed ok and it takes you back to the Service Scan menu saying 'press ok to start the scan'....press exit at that stage.
