Can I connect to my dreambox away from home?

I am currently able to access my dreambox at home on my laptop using Idreamx on my macbook pro.

My question is if I go to stay my girlfriends house and take my laptop can I access my dreambox on my laptop. I.E watch the channels e.t.c

If this can be done please let me know how or am I wasting my time.

Tis possible. Google may point you in the right direction. Try searching for "remote access to dreambox " some guides knocking about for setting this up

You can but you will need a PC setup local to the Dreambox to convert the streams it recieves localy from the Dreambox to a format more suitable for transmiting over the internet!

You don't necessarily need a pc if you use something like a Vulkano or Slingbox.

You should be able to stream to a computer using VLC media player.

You could use web-x tv if your using pli image, saves messing about with programs.
