dream elite image for dm800se and coolmans tv guide

has anyone got this working? i really like the image but the tv guide is pants, i like the coolmans tv gu but i can't get it to work, i've tried adding it through the ts panel with no joy, i've installed it manually through dcc and it still won't work. What tv guide would you recommend on the dream elite v2 image if i can't get the coolmans to work?

i know it works on the merlin image when loaded via
the tmp folder on a genuine dm800se, it could need a
change of image to get it working, or have you thought
of asking on there forum [dream-elite.net] to see if it works
on there v2 image

i've googled it and found an image which is backed up by ferret which says it is working so it must be possible, i don't really want to load his image after i've set everything up apart from the cool tv guide.
what does every one else use for an epg on this image?
