how to manually set frequency setting in dreambx

help can anyone put me in the picture with my dreambox lost some channels /wen click onto the channel just blank screen ....need to no if and how to change frequency to pick channel up ....manually and once picked up how do i lock frequency to keep channel thanks

Either do a full rescan to pick it up, or do a manual scan mate just for that one channel. Manual scan option, then enter all the transponder data and scan the individual transponder the channel is on.

thanks quick reply mate do i need to put frequency setting in then manual scan for channel missing could you run it through for me simple method new to all this thankx again once it finds channel on manual scan does it auto matically lock that frequency to that channel or i have to lock it to that frequency thanks afain

on the menu get to the manual scan option, select it,
input the transponder details with your remote control,
leave fec as auto and make sure you put the correct polarity in (horizontal or vertical),
start scanning, it should find the channels and will store with the rest of your channels.
