thinking more of dreambox or spider box?
dont know much about it

you could add "openbox" to your choice , HD , Dead easy to use , records to external and cheap , only downside is poor epg (only shows now+next)
if you getting a dreambox its a steep learning curve , you gonna spend a few hours on forums like this in setting it up , you can have fancy epg , youtube , streaming etc , but its not plug+play by any means
not clued up on spiderbox mate

lastly you gonna need a method to decrypt , a card share of some type , this subject cant be discussed in our open forum tho , so google is your best bet

Best advice is decide what box you want get the box then come back when you're stuck.
No one will spoon feed you but they will help if you try and help yourself.
We have all done the hard slog with a bit of advice but these boxes need you to do stuff on a relatively constant basis so its worth learning everything cos when it goes tits up who is going to sort it.
All the answers are on the forum but start at the top in the red stickies and do some reading and graft.
