i had it runnin for about 4 days over the hols its 100% safe for clones, but as said many times if u dont trust gemini then dont use there images, personally i prefer the DW or the DK ones i just tried it out of boredom !!!

Hi,
There is another alternative to Gemini Project, stable and so popular ? Anyone can recommend something?

I do not know yet if the my DM 500s is clone,

I wanted to say 2 things. First if your dreambox has a mac that starts with 00:09:34 then it is clone safe. Second, they havent made original dreambox's in over 2 years.

you may check your mac adress if it start with 00:09:34 and you may open it to see if it match this image ... if it is clone you may use only gemini 4.2 and older

I bought 2 clone 500s and they both have mac addresses starting with 00-09-34.
Does this mean they are safe for Gemini or not?

so your dmboxes are clone safe... u may use latest gemini but be carefull with new versions of it... i suggest gemini 4.2
