Network not ok and aspect ratio issue

I'm having trouble getting the network to work on my dm500, i had another dm500 previously and it always said network not ok but would always "connect". Any ideas?

Also aspect ratio changes at random times on all channels, zooms in and out is the only way i can explain it.

in expert setup/communication setup
reboot the box
or
reboot the router and box

A/V setup
Disable WSS on 4:3
tick the box to stop the zoom
save
