Help with recordings

sorry if ive put this in the wrong place... bit confused by the different sections.


I have tangled saved to the SE that was recorded off disney cinemagic, when i try to get it onto the laptop with ftp its been saved into more than one files...i think one is sound, one is the picture etc. I was wondering once i've saved it onto the laptop how do i piece it all back together? will it do it automatically or will i need to click on all the files at the exact same time?

i know it would be a whole lot easier just to d/l it but i like the one i have

if its on the dm box can you not access the dm from wireless lappy and view it on that or is the box in use and you cannot use it.no idea about multi files sorry

it is saved on the external HDD, and when i got it through the laptop using ftp files on dreambox control centre i uploaded (or downloaded, dont know what the difference is ) it to the laptop at first it didnt have sound so i had to extract the sound file seperatley but now i have no idea what to do with the files

now ive just completley confused myself about what it is im confused about in the first place
