Hi, was wondering if you could comment on the quality of clone boxes from this supplier (if thats OK?). Just I seen in the Visitor message that there are reports of boxes supplied with extra large heat sink and scooby5555 (who posted message) waiting to get some furhter feedback on the supplier. Just I may be in the market for a 2nd box and at that price hard to look past! Or is it a case of you get what you pay for!?...

when ordering a dm800 you need to ensure it has one of the later tuners rev m ,if the box is cheap it may be because it comes with an older tuner .its better to be safe than sorry.
i love it when a dreambox comes together.

Ukdreamshop used to be spot on, but the quality of their units these days aint too good and i have a few faulty ones sent ot to me. When you send them back they never refund the return postage, even when the units are sent out faulty.May as well take you chance from china
they do honour the warranties but if box fails after 30 days it has to be returned to china for repair which can leave you without box for more than a couple of weeks

is that true ? They send the boxes back to China and you have to wait for a replacment ? That is utter crap then...Might as well order direct from China and save yourself 50 quid or more...

The whole advantage of buying from UK sellers is suppsoed to befaster and easier turnaround on warranty issues.

I just checked their returns policy it is indeed correct... Waste of time ordering from there then. Better off going direct to China sellers.

Looks like ukdreamshop are just drop shippers...The cost of a DM800SE is 60 pounds more as well on their website ...

No point paying extra if your not going to get speedy resolution to warranty issues and your reciever still has to back to China anyway,,,

True say geezer, guess i'll order from china, dont really have a problem with china, just didnt wanna wait long for delivery really.

If it is faulty, dont mind sending it back, got a good old trusty dm500s as back up
