I flashed the open pli image but every time I update it the channels go off completely and I can then find any tunes to scan so the scan function or manual scan function don't work at all so its useless the box how can I sort this out

I use openpli on my 800se, you are not trying to update by using the update in openpli, it doesnt work for me either, i dont think that it loads the correct image so i never use openpli update.

Harry. You need to reflash the image, and you don't want to be updating anything with a clone box mate.
The only update you do really is to reflash with a newly patched image that matches you sim type.
