Dreambox viewer not working

Hi I have installed db viewer ver 4.0.0 but can't get it to work with my dm500 hd. When I open it this message appears: Error! no data from dreambox. I have eveything set good but not too sure on the port. It is set on 80.

Any help please?

Usually this error message appear when the dreambox password is wrong or ip not for dream and less likely dreambox port changed to anything different from 80
to check please enter ip dream in internet explorer and supply username and password when ask for
if what called web interface appears then everything is ok and there is something wrong with the program else check the possibilities for error

I've installed the latest version (Tunisia 6.01) and I've 2 problems.
The second day it now says evaluation period expired , please register bitcontrol mpeg2 video decoder. I tried registerdreamboxcodec.exe no success.
Second issue is with recording, on the recorded file video is fine but audio is stuttering all the time, coming and going.
Thanks a lot. If I can remedy this 2 issues this is great software.
By the way using Vista, and EDG Nemesis 4.4

problem could be solved by loading pli jade to dm
about licence and evaluation period exit program,remove program file/common file/bitctrl folder and excecute registercode again,it should work

Sorry mfaraj but the message on expired evaluation period persists. I deleted the bitctrl folder as you said. Then I ran register dreambox codec, the first time I had an OLE exeption error or smth like that, on further attempt just nothing happened. Any further advice?

I already did. It either gives me that "error accessing the OLE registry" message, other times as I said nothing happens, register dreambox codec can be seen among the active processes in task manager but no other sign of it. What exactly should happen when I run it, should it give me a window to confirm or whatever else? I have Vista by the way.

Just an update. Since I found no solution I thought to try the previous version 5 instead of 6. This time I was able to register the codec.
I had a strange issue though. My last recording doesn't appear in the media folder. It is present in the Tunisia movies tab and on properties it says it should be in the media folder. It didn't appear when I ran search for all mpg files in my hard drive. I found it by searching all mpg files this time from my Linux partition. It had ended up in user/appdata/local/virtualstore/programfiles/tunisia../media. No idea why.
As for the sound issue in the recordings it persists. After I switched to Jade it is milder but still present. It's fine when I stream and record through vlc, so the box I guess is streaming fine. The issue was fixed easily by VideoReDo though.

you can use latest 6.1 it has many enhancement and you can control the folder of recorded media

Hi. Great program. Only have a small problem. Everything works like a charm, but I GET NO PICTURE.??? got win7. Can record and take screenshots but not able to watch any programs...? pls help me..:-)

I'm having a problem running win 7 ultimate 64bit. I already run it as administrator and set as winxp compability but every time i open the program the no image and sound disable ..when i tried to enable it or increase volume runtime error will prompt out. Any solution for this???

I have windows 7 and could only work version 4 under XP mode. Will try version 5 now.

Hi, I am new to all this and have a Dreambox 500s using the enigma interface. I would like to record onto my laptop and this program seems to be what I need.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do this?
