The core of the prorgam the same for old or recent versions but recent versions are better in interface and enhancements else the program depends in streaming of dreambox channels to pc by using bitcontrol directshow filter which proved to be better than VLC in listening and understanding enigma1-based dreamboxes
for enigma2 dreamboxes both are equally good.
In the coming version 5 which intended for both enigma 1 and enigma 2 dreamboxes i will use bitcontrol for playing enigma 1 dreambox stream and vlc for playing enigma 2 dreambox stream as well as using vlc for restreaming beyond local network

there is error in codec registeration
install dreamcodecsetup.exe from program folder/filter and will solve the probem
try to install the new version of the program

can you teach me step by step how to use your programme to stream movies from my pc to my dreambox 500?

i can watch tv from box to my pc but i have failed to stream back to the box

I am trying to use a remote control (which does not have a mouse) to navigate within dreambox viewer. I really need a set of keystrokes which will either take me to a specific frame (bouquet, channel and the main media frame) which I can program into my remote through HIP.
I have tried various combinations of keystrokes to change the focus from one frame to the other without success.
Any help in achieving this would be most useful.
