Ok I would like to know how do I record channels on my dreambox se do I need something storage space etc and which folder do I check in to find what I have recorded. The record button on my dreambox don't do nothing at the moment

do you have a hard drive installed in it or external ?

External hard drive

menu>setup>system>recording paths
set the paths to your hard drive and save then your record should work
and push PVR to find what you have recorded
