    Dreambox Multimedia Error! Tried Everything

    Hi All

I know this has been discussed hundreds of times but i just wanted to say - i have tried positively everything i have read about and cannot find a solution.

    Web Flashed then got
    "sim 2XX error"

Re-flashed Null Modem cable (Standard dream Up)with another image now get
    "Dreambox Multimedia Error!!!"

Tried to Re-Flash with Dreambox now get
"No CA Found 2nd Stage Bootloader"

Tried re-flash with dreamup patched and dreamup repair get message

    "file too big"

tried re-flash with Patched dream up using network looks like it working but get same error

    "Dreambox Multimedia Error!!"

    downloaded yassinov dreambox optiflash

accepts the nfi image but then stops and you have to start again.

is their any other options out their, please any help will be appreciated

Normally when you update a flash file it removes the old file. I think the problem stems from the fact you have tried to flash your box with the wrong image. The fact that it reported that there was a CA error which could be patched by the Sunray fix. Erase the box (older versions of Dreamup have this feature) and try to flash the correct image again. Hope this helps.

1st : You can try to powerUP your dreambox, then start DreamUp and make connection to the box
use the serial connection NO LAN.
2nd : Than put the serial cable in the box, (do not bootUp with the cable inserted)
You wil see that it finds your DreamBox
This works with DREAMBOX Multimedia -> error! AND the no ca found

Couple of options try and find an image with older bootloader and if all else fails buy a new sim card.
Patience is the key with No Ca Found.
