dreambox green screen

what dreambox do u have?
I had problem with my dm 500HD (not clone) wouldnt boot up and had green screen was using open pli 2.1 so just went to dreambox website and downloaded latest firmware and flashed with browser and it works perfect now.But not sure what to do if its a clone might brick the box if you download official firmware

Normally a reasom why you get green screen,most likely epg is crashing the box.
When it crashes you can see a report that will tell you.

Dreambox 500

i have same problem my dreambox goes green and stuck. Need help

flash new image and make sure you don't have too many plugins as taking up too much memory will cause crashes all over the place.
