    ukdreamshop returns

I bought a dm800 from ukdreamshop a couple of years ago and had a problem with the box. When I returned it I was sent a replacement within about a week and was very happy with the customer service.
A mate of mine recently bought a dm800se from ukdreamshop
on my recomendation and had a problem with it not powering up properly. He returned the box and is still waiting for the box to be returned. Is ukdreamshop still a good seller or am I going to get more grief off my mate?

Its been about a week and a half now. My mate has been sending a load of emails but not had many replies. Trying to get him to calm down but all he says is the wife is giving him grief because it was her money that bought it.

I've bought lots of stuff from there and never had a single problem.

Hope they get back to you soon.

I haven't personally used them, but if you check the returns policy on their website it says box will get sent back to manufacturer for repair. so back to China.... Not very good in my opinion. The whole, point of UK based suppliers is quick resolution to support queries... Better off going direct to China suppliers you'll save yourself at least fifty quid as well..

They used to be real good, I wouldnt use them any more though because of too many faulty boxes from them. They will finally sort you out but you will end up out of pocket. If they send a faulty box out you have to return it and they wont pay the return postage like they should under distance and selling regs.

I'd never use them again, too many times now with boxes that just don't work and takes forever to get them replaced plus you have to pay for the post

Yes Ukdreamshop have certainly gone downhill on their product and service. Once upon a time I used to champion them and always recommend them

I have had a nightmare purchasing from UKDreamshop. I ordered a dm500 in March 23rd and paid via debit card/Moneybookers, Next day DreamboxUK emailed me saying Moneybookers cancelled the transaction due to suspected fraud but I could pay by via bank Transfer which I did. A month later I am still waiting for my card refund which UKDreamshop say they have not got and Moneybookers says that UKdreamshop have. It was stupid to pay via Bank Transfer but I had only heard good things about UKDreamshop and now I am out of pocket. Any advice would be great, it is not the fact of the money it is the simple fact I don't like being ripped off.

i would steer well clear of them.
bought a dm 800 and the power transformer packed in after about a month.
countless e-mails later and promises, i never got one.
in the end i bought one from somewhere else.

i know they arnt expensive, but its not the point.

                          Non existing after sales

Had a problem with a unit still under waranty and having major problems getting it sorted. I would avoid unless your'e happy with a total lack of after sales.
