Usals set but dish doesnt move unless in set up screem

    Hi There,
I have set the usals and stored 2 sats, 13e & 28e. To move between the 2 I have to use the setup screen and move to position (after selecting the tune function).
On my DM7000 it moves automatically when you select the channel from the list, i cant see why the DM800 isnt doing the same

    Cheers

i had a mates dm800 clone and before that moved the dish on usuals
i had to set the advanced menu for diseqc 1.2 and set
the sats up he wanted on his list. plus i set each sat from west to east
and numbered them from 30w at number 1 and so on for each
sat set in the menu, then i load a channel list, then went back to tuner
set up and changed ir to simple then possitioner entered the long/lat and
the dish then found every sat, here's a good site for your long/lat settings
just put your post code in the search bar:-- add hh to the link

        Thanks for quick replies
Tried both the above and no success.
Now dish wont move at all. Suspecting the motor.
Any quick ways to check the motor?

you said your other box moves the dish
are you certain the long/lat settings are
set the same as that box,
and you have a channel list loaded

HI. Always check that the motor green light is on. If no light check cables inserted correctly. If using USALS dish should always move automatically. Is motor USALS compatible? Regards.
