hi all i have a dreambox 500v8dvb and the box wont do anyhink the green lights on but wont load up no pic or wont respond to remote im new to this please help

had one of these boxes and so had sister and it needs to be reflashed
the problem the sister was having is she wasnt powering off the box correctly she was just cutting the power off to it instead of pressing power off on remote turning of switch on back of box then plugging out
she just plugged the ~~~~er out needless to say i ~~~~ed her out of it when i noticed what she was doing and the box didnt need reflashing again
