anyone tell me what this box can do open or is it a cs box only ?

The DM100 is not a linux receiver so you might not be able to CS since you can't install an emu.

Don't know much about them so I may be wrong.

love it its not linxu but it can link to a share still more stuff to be done with this receiver but its great set one up for my brother and have to say they did good with this one and there has been a bit of talk with dream if it go's well there might be a cable one you should see the size of it and if you can link to a share its so easy to set it just put your user pass and the server ip and dyndns in and port and thats it it will link right away also you can now edit softcam keys with it but have not tryed to do it yet as there has been no need

2tone ive just bought on by mistake tbh thought it was an updated 500s lmfao always read the label 1st ;( got it for 60? tho on fleabay from sat store uk 12 month warranty etc will you help me get it running mate or point me in the right direction mate
or do you think i should sell it?

Sure m8 if you have not flashed it yet you need these files , so first download these files and unrar them to new folders then when that is done plug in the dm100s to your usb port no need for any power at this point your pc will see it and ask to load drivers just point it to the cmd folder it will install 2 sets of drivers and will say when done . Now when that is done you can put power on to the unit give it a couple of mins then open xloader , what i will say is that xloader dose not set the usb port some times so go to tools com settings and change the port to find what port its on just go to your device manager click on ports and it will say what usb serial port it is then back to xloader and set it ok now you should be read click connect if all is well it will say connected now go to upload then point to dm100s main_v0200s_30 jan will say to powere of or reset stb pull power then back in and it should flash if all has been done right , when its done click disconnect pull power and that should be you ready to go when you have this done then let us know or if you have done this say and we can then set it up for sats

for a starter receiver its good and its still very early so lots of dev still being done it can use cccam , newcamd , scamd so for most newservers its ok what sats you looking to get with it

well like most im just on thor and sirus at the moment on tm5400ci motorised system and have the dbox for the rest of the family i love sat because of the amount of good content we used to have movies sports kids tv etc like others i was gutted when we lost most of our open stuff
