looking to purchase dreambox

hi all i have an openbox, im finding my bitrate bad (eyes like a hawk, can notice alot ). im wondering whats the best dreambox to buy that wont suffer bitrate problems. on my openbox 3d isnt great on the 47 inch, im hoping a dreambox would sort this out. cheers for any advice given

Not too sure if the Dreambox will help you it may but the difference may only be slight, currently the Openbox runs the Ali3602 chipset and the Dreambox which version you go for differs slightly the 800se has the newer broadcaom 4505 chipset.

Transmitted bitrate of a HD channel is variable and each box will interpret it and handle the output differently, if you where going from SD to HD i would say yes the difference is immense but going from HD to HD but with a different box well like i say you may notice it you may not.

You would be better trying to find some half decent settings for your viewing panel, Like a cheaper version of having it calibrated before you go buying a new box.
