    dreambox and VoIP

    Hi,

    Is it possible to have VoIP (skype) on dreambox and talk ?

      i wouldnt of thought so as theres no audio input to the dreambox

                          yeah but if it was possible any sound coming from the box is going to be coming out of the same output as your channel sound. its just not faesible give it up as a bad idea if i were you

                              usb skype phone of just wake up laptop and takeover.

                                      I think Skype also use their own version of voip. This is why not all hardware devices work with Skype (if the device supports Skype its because the company has paid them a royalty).
                                      You can pick up cheap voip phones or ATA's (which let you plug any phone into a router).
