might have gone corrupt, just make a new one with notepad, naming it CCcam.cfg and put in your lines. delete old one and replace with new one

sometimes it just happens, dont think theres anyway of preventing it.I only use cfg file just remember to keep a back up of it for whenever anything goes wrong

sounds like you have either A: duplicated files or B: if the CCcam.cfg files are named like this CCcam_1, CCcam_2 etc then this is normal and you have Cccam switch installed.

Also worth noting is to use Notepad++ to read and alter CCcam.cfg files as notepad on its own cannot sometimes break the lines up correctly.

Just backup the main CCcam.cfg i am assuming that you have a backup of what is already contained within the file anyway

Yes, each cccam file has the same stuff in just looks like a lot of helpful info to me! however each one i use becomes corrupt, not sure why, so i now make my own and leave the others alone! do i have to take the backup file of the box an keep on laptop or is it ok on box?

Yes, just use DCC or any other ftp and transfer it to your laptop
