    Dreambox V Dbox2 SAT

Can someone tell me whats the difference between these 2 boxes? I know that dbox2 is the king as far as cable is conceined. I want to have Satelite television so was wondering whether to buy a Dbox2 or a dreambox. I have already a 90CM motorised dish ready to set up.

Most people would say the dreambox but if you really comfortable with the dbox2 then its not too bad as i have heard...

Can a dbox2 take a card? can i stream from box to computer and vis-vesa? And lastly i have already a huge motorised dish, is this something i can set up on my own or i need to pay someone ?100 for this Job? Also can i just remove the small sky Dish outside my house and replace it with this dish?

personaly i would go for a dreambox becuase they are a lot newer and very well supported here and on other sites,as for the dish as long as you can use some basic tools a compass and a sat meter.Changeing it for the sky dish would of course require some new and bigger raw bolts because of the size of the new dish the cable should be fine as long as its not damaged i would put new f-plugs on to get a better signal. If the new dish is bigger than 1.2meter then you may want to mount it on the floor because of the effect 0f strong winds. Also if it is bigger than 1.2meter your dreambox/dbox will not drive the dish and you would need a vbox to move the dish

Well your fence post will need to be plumb vertical or forget receiving any channels..motorised systems need to be installed on a very very vertical pole

the dish dose not have to be to high up,just rember the sky dish pionts at 28e and you need a view from at least 28e to 1w min or even better 30w goto a site called dishpionter(google it) and put your post code in then goto your house on the map and it will show you wich way to piont your dish and what objects are in the way
