    Buying a dreambox

    Hi,

I am building a new sat installation: one antena with 3 LNBs (astra 2D, astra 1H and Hotbird) and antoherwith 1 LNB (hispasat - I am a ZON client).

Reading articles, I think the best solution is to buy a dreambox to be able to watch english, french and spanish channels using the first antena.

I thought in buying the 500 HD. But first, I am thinking in buying a cheap 500S just to verify that everwthing is ok and than I will buy a 500HD or 800HD.

Anyone recommends me a trusting site to buy it?

How can I distinguish a real version than a clone version?

    Thanks! Obrigado!

i would go for a genuine box everytime,
the dm500hd is a very good model. but if you go for a dm800hd
then it will be a clone box. [dreambox dont make the dm800hd now].
and i would buy from where only genuine boxes are sold
as already pointed out to you. go for a motorised system as a 1mtr dish and
three lnb's will cost about the same as a diseqc motor and the dish
