Use dream-up & null modem cable, preferably a PC with serial port
as USB-SERIAL leads can be problematic with dream-up.
Set box to cable & install image.
Power off box & power on again.
Set box to sat & install image.
DK 1.1 is a good image for cable & sat
PLI-JADE can also be used on cable & sat. Also has better menu
in internet add-ons.
When flashing image to Open Media follow instructions for
flashing Dreambox 500.
You can use 2 diff. images on Open Media box if you wish.
Just be sure images are clone-safeComment

Yes it should be OK. If not try this version or older version

You probably need to adjust com-port setting on PC. Set RS-232
serial port to 1,2,3,or 4.
