It's either 1 or the other...Process of elimination mate!!

It'll be the fan.

Gently pushing on the top of the case in the middle should confirm it.

Open it up and manoeuvre the chassis holding the fan to eliminate the noise. Worked for me.

My fan also makes a racket, could I take it out and use one of the laptop fans underneath instead to cool it? Thankyou in advance

Get a contact spray cleaner the model ho have a little pipe and spray in the fan, you will see if still make noise.
