    Parental Lock at certain times

Hello to all dreamboxers out there

This is my first post here so I hope I can find answers.

I would like to know if I can set up parental lock for a specific channel at a certain time. For instance, channel1 has some content from 1-3am that I don't want it to be viewed unless you know the pin code. Can this be done?
Have in mind that I know how to set parental lock in general through menus, but in this case I only want to set it at a specific time for a specific channel. Furthermore, if there is a way to enable parental lock whenever there is a movie with a specific rating then this would be better (i.e. block a channel when it shows an R rated movie).
If the solution is writing some script to do it please mention the first few steps of this procedure and I think I will be able to carry from there.
I have a good understanding of the dreambox as a whole so feel free to post anything you might think is usefull.

And pardon me if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it in the forums.

well, you can use the parental lock procedure to setup a pin code and then go manually and add parental lock to all the adult channels.
This method will block the channels you choose 24 hours/day, meaning that you can view them only if you know the pin.

What I am looking for when I made my post was to find a way to block a channel at certain times of the day.
I know of at least 3 channels on Hotbird 13E that show adult movies after 1am, but during the day they show normal movies/content even sports.

I am working on a script myself to setup the parental lock on specific times of the day on certain channels. If I get lucky I might have it done by this sunday. I have the knowledge but not the time so you should be patient.
My next attempt it will be to write up some script to block content based on rating, so if you want to block movies with lots of violence because you might not want your kids to view them then it would be handy.
I am trying to write something to automate things rather than doing it manually everytime.
Anyhow, I just hope I will get the time to even succeed in my first idea. In case it works I will post files and instructions here.

      cheers

          Bump

This is a really old thread, but the subject is still relevant.
Does anybody know if there is a way to lock a channel at a specific time?
As the dm500's are getting cheaper, I think a lot of us are thinking that it is a perfect choise for the kids TV.
Here in Scandinavia, most channels that has adult content have regular programs during the day so this funktion would be great.

          Anyone?
