Dreambox with enigma1.. does it come with any cam software?

I bought a dreambox which has got enigma1 installed on it.

Do you know if it comes with any cam software ? (ie newcamd ? )

There's this "Enigma" logo everywhere though if that makes any sense

unplug the box then plug it back in, watching the tv screen when you do so, you should get some sort of picture up before the tv channel appears, take a photo and upload it if you're still not sure

oh by the way guys, which image would you recommend me to have on my 500s? I heard darkstar II is good and I am thinking of installing it, though ive never installed an image before.

Is there a guide somewhere for newbies ( ) on how to install it ?

(and, does it come with any emu's ? )

nabilosat darkstar image is good its in the downloads
guide to flash a new image is in the dreambox cable section
for the emu once the new image is flashed you can download it over the net if your box is connected to a router via ethernet cable

do dreambox work with sky ??

Sky is not hacked so you can't get all the channels for free like you can on some cable companies.

If you install CCcam in your image, that will read a sky card if you have a valid subscription. Useful if you want to use the dreambox for streaming.

"Menu > Information > About" will tell you what image is on the box.

Could you tell me how to download and install the newcamd emu?

OK, update #3 :P Newcamd installed via the download manager of darkstar.

I know how to select it, but is there any way to edit it through the remote control ? Ive checked but couldnt find anything :-(
