Yes you can if the image you are using has the supported drivers for the dongle you wnat to use and usage is around 1-1.5gb a month

If your 800 is a Sim2 then have a look at the DreamOEM site at the images on there as the guys normally list what drivers are included for each dongle, as far as i know some of the later Blackhole image port's have the relevant drivers in them but i would check first before you flash another image as you may be able to get the drivers for the openPLI image

You could try using a Wifi adapter that uses the ethernet port, these things are universal they don't require any drivers. I used one for a long time on my DM500s and worked like a charm. They just plug in and use WPS to connect, simple as pressing a few buttons. This is a link to the actual unit I use.. NETGEAR WNCE2001 Universal WiFi Internet Adapter Deals | PcworldComment

The Tenda Units operate the same and are under half price at ?18, but a DM800 with correct image and drivers can make use of an internet dongle what you are suggesting above would require the dongle placed in a suitable router and then that connected to the wireless bridge which defeats the objectYou could try using a Wifi adapter that uses the ethernet port, these things are universal they don't require any drivers.
