I want to flash image for my dreambox 800hdpvr and I have a problem with dreamup it show me a message Error cant find any com ports - aborting !

The error is from your computer. I take it you have a serial port and set dreamup with the correct com port on your computer? Can you use the web method for flashing DM800's?My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far

There might be some conflict with the serial port. try this :
Control Panel> System > Hardware > Device Manager > Ports (Com<P) > com port > properties > port settings > advanced > com port number > and change from comp 1 to com 2 (your motherboard may just have 1 connector, the change is just logical not physical, or at least the external connector is the same for com1 & com2.)

How do you mean " dead " when you plug it in is there anything on the oled screen ? I haven't used flashwizard pro so can't comment on that but i think other people use it .. any harm in trying ?Comment
