Hi,
I've a dreambox DM800SE and for the past 3 or 4 days my picture has been freezing which is rendering watching anything from the box impossible. The freeze only happens on the encrypted channels - free to air ar fine so I'm thinking its not down to signal strength if say the dish moved in the widy weather. I've also checked my CSS subscription is active (which it is). I've tried restarting various things from emu manager, the GUI and the restart of box - all do the same thing in that after restart the picture will play for anywhere from 10-30 secs then freeze. If left in thats state the picture/sound will start again then freeze again.
Anyone come across this before and advise on things to check - I'm not getting any error messages on dreambox and my broadband is OK - in that I have several other active working internet connections, althouigh I do notice quite a lot of dropouts on broadband but this may not be related as was happening when dreambox was OK.
Any advice much appreciated as the big Lions 2nd test is on tomorrow which I dont want to miss - unless that gives me a good excuse to go and watch it in pub and have boozy lunch :-)!!
