Hi guys. I've had a starview on cable for a few months but im moving to a no cable area so I will have to get sat. What I need to know is what box do I need for sat that will do the same job as Starview did on cable? Cheaper the better, I dont care for features. Thanks in advance.

Short answer is none will. If you want sky best bet is get a dreambox and look into card sharing. Thsats the only way your gonna get sky m8

No m8 satellite doesn't work like that. Do a Google for "card sharing" Talk is banned in here m8 but theres plenty of info around

if you want sky then get a subscription.. dont waste your time buying a dreambox just for sky, their encryption is 100x better than virgin's current effort.. you picture will freeze and break all the time.. ebay is full of dreamboxes bought for sky

Mate if you invest in a motorised setup you will realise that there is thousands of other channels with content million times better than sky!

Like Sixstrings i've just moved from a cable area to a new place which has a communal (SLY) aerial. I have no access to the dish nor can i install my own.
What are my options for getting satellite TV. ?
I;m more interested in movies (including ~~~~os) than football or sports.
I had a Dreambox 500c at my old place, would it be worth getting a 500s for here or are they outdated now. ?Comment

there is not a lot you can do as the communal sat dish pionts to 28e which only has sky on it.The ~~~~ is on every other sat but 28e.The only way is to buy a sky card as sky cant be hackedHi There,
