ok ive left it on simple setup just gone to thor 8 did a positioner find now i have a picture ?
every satelite i set position to goes to ok with picture but when i change to another sat it moves but nothing
is this erelervant what should the satfinder be set too? or is it nothing too do with this

If you do it with simple,positioner as mode long and lat it should do it automatically without any messing or you having to go into tuner config again. Andy

yes its doing allot off moving around through sats but doesnt lock on any only the one i setup through positoner
has a said on my first post i had it setup through advanced setup with 002.100 and 053.200 that was the only way it worked ,but cant remember the full setup i did it was pot luck i think it worked , i know it should be simple but im missing some simple option somwhere

The thing I can think of is your dish is way out one way or another. Only thing to do is get dish checked or compensate the offset by playing with the lat or long. I know you can do that with dish's that are misaligned. Andy.

Using Non Usals is a little harder but its a better way for saving sats and fine tuning each one, that's probably your best bet, Andy.

I have been having the same probs all week trying to set up my motor with the same img and Catseye , it picks up the sats and then drops and I get tune failed then it comes back and drops again . 1 thing I need to ask is can you use an inline amp with a motor ??? I have a 25m run of cable and was thinking of trying it

You should not need an inline-amplifier on any sort of cable run even if it was over 25m unless your receiver your using is useless or the cable you have installed is also useless

finally got it , ive set it too usauls , simple, set my latty and longy then gone into postion set up set it too 08 w thor got a 95% signal save it then gone straight too satfinder choose again 08w thor got a lock on it then a presto all sats going to good signals phew thank got it only took me 3 weeks to sus it out ,proberbly a fluke i have to firmware it again cuz i was playing about with skins know it wont boot up ,next time i set it up too full working order im not going too touch the settings , is there not menu lock or something too stop me messing with it and which way is the best to backup my box just in case anyway thanks for all your help
