dreambox control center problems HELP PLEASE

hi all I am having trouble connecting dreambox control center to db its saying telnet & ftp not connected & db ip address is not correct. I have tried everything please help I am a newbie so make it very simple please thanks

On the left hand side under config you will see login, make sure your name is root and your password is dreambox, also do you have a green line connecting your pc rooter and box at the top. If not, your ip address is not right for your box. Go to , Menu Setup, Network, to find your ip and change it DCC. Im new at this aswell and hope I haven't sounded like an idiot, but it worked for me. Good luck

Mount the usb via the image and set path but you would be better with the larger hard drive to record stuff.

sorry I am very new to all this. when I put usb in db and go to devises it not recognised I have formated usb on pc but I have seen have to format with fat32?? don't know how to do it please could you make it very simple
