RF Modulator sound issue and 2 horizontal lines through screen. Fix???????

Hey,

So today i have setup a vu duo using a rf modulator (maplins). Got the picture up but on ever channel selected on the modulator im getting 2 horizontal lines move down the screen and white noise sound when sound settings BG and buzzing sound when set on I.

Been manually setting ****ogue channels trying to find a fix but every channel seems the same problem.

Apart from the lines the picture is good.

I have 2 rf cables that are go into the wall going upstairs suppliying 4 tvs upstairs, i bought a 4 way amplifier so i could accomodate both rf feeds.

Is 1 rf a input and another a output? currently both rf wires are plugged into the amplifier so both acting as output could that be the issue?

Existing rf setup was working fine using sly HD box.

Bit stuck wondering if anyone can help me out?

sorry may have got some of the sound settings names mixed up there cant remember them off top of head! scart leads checked and plugged in fine. scart coming out of tv port on duo. could coming out of vcr scart port make a difference?

Not all modulators are created equal and some perform better than others regarding the conversion to RF, Not sure why you have both plugged in but the normal format would be Scart from VU Duo into Modulator and then Cable going upstairs connected to RF ouput and if this feeds into another distribution amplifier connect the upstairs cable to the input

not sure why there 2, its setup for a friend and he had 2 rf's goin into his original sly hd box, 1 must be for input? i can take this modulator back to maplins so i think im gonna try the triax tri link modulator see if that improves it at all. Jut seems strange that the picture is the but the lines and the sound issues makes me think setting are wrong somewhere along the line.

even when taking the amp out and just using 1 of the 2 rf feeds still having same issue
